Professional Window Cleaning

Your Windows cleaned your way

With over 20 years' experience, Duncan's Window Cleaning provides professional domestic and commercial window cleaning using both traditional and pure-water cleaning methods.

We believe different properties require different approaches. That's why we don't rely on a single cleaning method. Depending on your property, access and requirements, we can use traditional hand cleaning, water-fed pole systems or a combination of both.

We provide regular and one-off window cleaning across East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset, including Axminster, Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth, Honiton, Exeter, Chard, Crewkerne and Yeovil.

  • Domestic Window Cleaning

Whether you need a regular window cleaner or a one-off clean, we provide a reliable service tailored to your property.

Our standard window cleaning service includes the glass, window frames and sills, with external doors cleaned as part of the service where appropriate.

We clean everything from small cottages and terraced properties to large detached homes, conservatories and properties with difficult-to-reach windows.

Before starting regular cleaning, we'll assess the property and agree the price and cleaning schedule with you.

  • Regular window cleaning

Most of our customers choose a regular cleaning schedule, allowing us to maintain the windows rather than waiting for dirt and grime to build up.

Once you're added to one of our regular rounds, we'll return at the agreed interval. We ALWAYS let you know in advance when we're due so that gates can be unlocked and access made available.

You don't normally need to be at home while we work, making regular cleaning simple and convenient.

  • Traditional Window Cleaning

Traditional window cleaning still produces excellent results and, after more than 20 years in the trade, it's a method we continue to use where it's the best option.

Using professional applicators and squeegees allows us to clean the glass by hand and is particularly useful for certain ground-floor windows, internal glass and properties where water-fed pole cleaning isn't suitable.

Unlike businesses that operate exclusively with one system, we can choose the cleaning method that works best for the property.

  • Pure-Water Window Cleaning

For many properties we use professional water-fed pole systems using purified water.

Ordinary tap water contains dissolved minerals. When tap water dries naturally on glass, these minerals can remain behind and cause spotting.

Our filtration system removes these impurities to produce purified water. The window, frame and sill can then be thoroughly cleaned using a specialist brush before being rinsed with pure water.

Because the water contains virtually no dissolved minerals, it can be left to dry naturally without the need to squeegee the glass.

Water-fed poles also allow us to clean high and difficult-to-reach windows safely from ground level, reducing the need for ladders around your property.

  • Commercial Window Cleaning

We provide commercial window cleaning for businesses and commercial properties throughout our service area.

Every commercial property is different, so we'll assess the building, access requirements and frequency of cleaning before recommending an appropriate cleaning programme.

Our water-fed pole equipment allows us to reach high-level windows from ground level where conditions permit, while traditional cleaning can be used for entrances, internal glass and other areas where it is more appropriate.

Regular commercial cleaning can be arranged around the needs of your business to minimise disruption to staff and customers.

  • Conservatory Cleaning

Conservatories are particularly prone to collecting dirt, algae, cobwebs and organic growth around frames, glass and roof panels.

We can clean conservatory windows and other accessible exterior surfaces as either part of your regular window cleaning service or as a separate clean.

Because conservatories vary considerably in size, design and condition, we'll assess what's required before providing a quotation.

  • Solar Panel Cleaning

Solar panels are continually exposed to dust, dirt, bird droppings and other airborne contamination.

Where access and conditions allow, we can clean solar panels using our purified-water system and water-fed poles without using household detergents on the panel surface.

Solar panel cleaning can be carried out as a standalone service or alongside other exterior cleaning work.

Contact us if you'd like us to assess the panels and provide a quotation.

  • How much does it cost?

How Much Does Window Cleaning Cost?

Every property is different, so prices depend on factors such as the number and size of windows, access, property layout and the amount of work involved.

Regular domestic window cleaning starts from £16.

We'll provide a clear price before adding your property to our regular cleaning round, so you know what the service will cost.

  • Window Cleaning FAQs

Do you clean the window frames and sills?

Yes. Frames and sills are included as part of our normal exterior window cleaning service where accessible.

Do I need to be at home?

Usually not. As long as we can access the areas being cleaned, we're able to complete the work while you're out. If we need access through a locked gate or another part of the property, this can be arranged in advance.

    What happens if it rains?

Modern pure-water window cleaning can be carried out in light rain without affecting the finished result. However, we won't clean where weather conditions make the work unsafe or where we believe the conditions would prevent us from providing an acceptable result.

Why are my windows left wet after pure-water cleaning?

This is intentional. The purified water contains virtually none of the minerals found in ordinary tap water, allowing the glass to dry naturally without leaving mineral deposits behind.

Can you clean windows that are difficult to reach?

Our professional water-fed pole system allows us to clean many high and difficult-to-access windows safely from ground level. We'll assess particularly difficult windows before confirming whether they can be cleaned safely.

Do you offer one-off window cleaning?

Yes. Subject to availability, we can provide both regular and one-off window cleaning. Contact us with details of the property and we'll let you know what we can offer.

    Do you clean commercial properties?

Yes. We provide commercial window cleaning and can arrange regular cleaning schedules for suitable businesses and commercial premises.
